This 12V dynamo is a direct replacement for the Original Lucas C40 dynamo, with a single spade on the rear and a lug on the side these dynamos have been redeveloped to be fully weather proof. The positioning of the connections allows for a fully insulated solution ensuring the longevity of your new dynamo.
Most of the applications for this Dynamo involve long term exposure to the elements which often results in the failure of original units.
The dynamo will require being polarised once fitted, the dynamo needs polarizing to ensure it matches the polarity of the control box, if this isn’t done then the dynamo wont work.
